Rani saves a dog
Rani Mukerji will be awarded an award for saving a stray dog. She will be awarded a Hero to Animals Award from PETA India.
The story goes like this – Rani was shooting for her film ‘Aiyya’, when she saw a dog being harassed by some people on the sets. Rani came to the dog’s rescue and saved him.
A PETA official confirmed the news and said “This dog would have been terrified and suffered more abuse were it not for Rani’s compassionate and quick action.”
